Academic Year 2021-2022

• Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• We provide an opportunity to attend 1 (one) class as a Try Out class before sign for the entire session. However, this one class tuition ($20) will be required.
• Registration fee (one time) is $50, non refundable.
• Full tuition for the session is required at the time of registration.
• Art supplies fee (one time) is $100, non refundable.
• A $35 charge will be assessed for all returned checks.
• Courses are subject to cancellation or changes based on enrollment.
• If a class is canceled, students will be notified at least 1(one) day prior to the date of class.
• Field Trips, Guest Artists Workshops, Art History classes are requires additional charges.

Absences, Refunds & Credits:

We provide an opportunity to make-up the 1 (one) class missed out of 8 (eight) due to a student’s illness, unanticipated travel or other reasons not the responsibility of the Art Studio “Artishock”. Student has an opportunity to attend another class during the week at the same location if spot exists. No pro-rated make up classes will be offered. No fees will be returned for a student’s failure to attend the entire session or withdrawal.

Classes on Religious Holidays: Within a program session, classes may fall on a day that residents honor as a religious holidays. In an effort to be sensitive to all religions, class participants may: Make up the class missed, if space exists or have the fee (for one class out of eight) pro-rated to reflect the day that must be missed.

Attendance:

Students and parents must respect the rights of other students and staff or they will be asked to leave the school and forfeit tuition. No refund or credit is given to students who are expelled from the program due to behavioral problems. The Art Studio “Artishock” offering a structured program with a curriculum and lesson plans that includes a schedule of instruction and work periods. These all work together to help students achieve creative productivity. If your child arrives late, leaves early or misses days, they will possibly miss out on finishing their project, or they may have trouble catching up to their peers. Please try to send your child to all the sessions they sign up for and minimize late arrivals and early departures.

The Art Studio is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the studio or classroom. All lost items, however, will be kept for 30 days.

The Art Studio “Artishock” is organized for educational purposes and offers programs and activities to everyone without regard to race, religion, national origin or sexual orientation.

I grant full permission to the “Artishock” Art Studio to use photographs, videotapes, and any other record of classes or programs for any promotional purposes.

I hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims to damages against the Art Studio “Artishock”. I accept all risk incidentals and do hereby release the Art Studio “Artishock” for all liability and injury during any activities. I further agree that in the event medical attention is required due to an accident or illness, and my contact person is unreachable, the Art Studio “Artishock” representative shall be permitted to seek such medical services, as it shall deem necessary and appropriate through EMS/911 and/or local hospitals.
